Garrett popped in at ABC/Radio Disney to say hey to a great friend, Belinda Kelley...along their tour of the station G was introduced to Chris Huff, Assistant PD at KSCS. The guys realized they had a mutual frined in common, Mr. Mike Crow at Country Legends. Garrett plans on stopping back to play for the gang soon at KSCS. Can't give away all the details yet, but here's some news "hot off the press"! A radio personality with a syndicated radio show, with 115 stations, and 3 million listeners an hour, took a listen to G's new tracks. He loved what he heard and has invited G to be a part of his show. He wants to play a few tracks off the new EP and have Garrett perform a few tunes live. G would like to thank everyone for the love, thoughts and prayers they've sent him recently...He lost his grandfather last week, Sept 20, 2009. "He was a really big part of my life, and I'll miss him tremendously...Just another reminder that everyday is a gift..." replied Garrett to fans as they sent messages on Facebook and Twitter.

Garrett rocks the San Saba Civic Center on Thursday, June 25th and again on Saturday, June 27th. After receiving the news of Michael Jackson's death minutes before he takes the stage, he quickly changes his song set to include a special song dedicated to MJ himself. He receives a standing ovation for his rendition of Go Rest High on that Mountain. Rest in Peace Michael, you will truly be missed!

A good friend of Garrett's, Alice Sells, a remarkable business manager to several celebrities in Nashville, had a last minute invitation. The Make A WIsh Foundation was in need of a performer to round out an event for a very special little girl named Andrea. The employees at the Double Tree Hotel in downtown Nashville raised funds for this extra special little girl and her family to vacation at DIsneyworld in Florida. They had planned a big surprise event for her with dancing and singing, and all of the Disney characters were there including her friends and family. As they were crowning her "Princess" and handing her a very special Disney gift, Garrett serenaded the crowd with a beautiful rendition of When You WIsh Upon A Star. Together, everyone shared tears of Joy for this little girl. We wish Andrea and her family strength, love and joy on their journey. Garrett was truly blessed to be included in such a remarkable event. Thank you to the Double Tree Hotel, the Make-A-Wish foundation, Alice Sells and, of course, Andrea, for allowing us all to share in her special day.
